Ifá

The Ifá is a little-known (and hugely mis-understood by most) African system of spirituality and magick (although it can be considered the “mother” of Vodun (aka. “Voodoo”), which is better known).

This article gives a brief summary of some of the most significant data from the Ifá. Note that most of the information on the internet about all these subjects, is incorrect. Also note that some of these things are pointers to very fundamental forces which can be immensely powerful, so I recommend caution when starting to work with these things. For example, I don’t recommend attempting to contact any of the “building blocks” until one is able to use the PEAT and Gunas processes effectively.

Ori.

This is Higher-self (aka. holy spirit), which can be seen as all spirits. Each spirit includes the information relevant to its own existence, thus Ori has all correct data, making it one of the most valuable things for advanced spiritual improvement.

Eshu.

Eshu is the chaos at the dark lower end of reality, out of which all manifestation arises. There are many different sub-types of Eshu, and working with them effectively is essential for the more advanced levels of improving one’s spiritual condition.

The building-blocks of this universe.

Most people are familiar with Yin and Yang, which are the level of 2 of the Matrix, and Tao which is the level 1. But, useful though they are in principle, those are not the levels which are actually used to build the reality we find ourselves in . . . the most relevant levels are 16 and 32 which the Ifá uses.

Here is a brief simplified view of the level-of-16:

  • Everything / Nothing
  • Addition / Subtraction
  • Space / Density
  • Energy / Images
  • Self / Others
  • Anchor-points (things to be viewed) / Viewing-action
  • Life as body / Life as spirit
  • Amount of emotional distance / degree of attachment

Personality Archetypes

Ifá data includes data on personality-types (archetypes) which are a very significant influence on personality including body-shape and sexual orientation etc. Our research into advanced work on these systems includes the possibility of becoming free of the limitations of a personality, and having access to the advantages of all of them (by implementing all-options).

Here are some of the basic personality archetypes, which relate to the Seven Archetype Locations energy-body:

Survival people: the belly brain users (Ogun and Yemanja complexes): Survival
Affinity people: the heart brain users (Shango and Oshun complexes): Affinity
Truth people: the head brain users (Obatala and Oya complexes): Truth

Another personality archetype is Ochosi, which owns a human body but is not incarnated into it. And there are also Eshu personalities, which have the above goals reversed. More on all of that on the page for the Seven Archetype Locations
